As part of the Atrium Sessions concerts last week, organized by the Belgrade Festivals Centre (CEBEF), a well-attended concert by Tijana Bogićević was held in Kolarac, as well as concerts by the band Crvena jabuka, A.N.D.R. and Retrospektiva and ‘Al Amor’ programme in the atrium of Captain Miša’s Mansion.
On 16 September, Tijana Bogićević performed in the Concert Hall of the Kolarac Endowment, which was filled to capacity. In June, this pop singer released a new studio album ‘Blizu’ with the title song and the tracks ‘Umem’ and ‘Ponovo ljubav’. The guests at her concert were musicians Aleksa Jelić and Aleksandra Sara Milutinović. The concert was attended by numerous figures from public life, including Zoe Kida.
On 15 September, the group Crvena jabuka held a three-hour concert, full of emotions, in the filled atrium of Captain Miša’s Mansion, where the audience sang along to every song. Žera and the members of the band delighted fans of all generations with the famous hits ‘Bježi, kišo, s prodora’, ‘Dirlija’, ‘Ima nešto od srca do srca’ and many others.
At the beginning of the week, on 13 September, the increasingly popular musician of the new generation, trumpeter and arranger Andrija Gavrilović A.N.D.R. performed with the band Retrospektiva. In the atrium of Captain Miša’s Mansion, they gathered numerous fans, who enjoyed the modern pop-dance sound. After studying at the famous Berklee and musical life in New York, Andrija, upon returning to Belgrade, creates a new identity as a producer of dance-pop sound under the name A.N.D.R. and sets himself the task of encouraging collective musical creativity with his production craft acquired at Berklee.
The music and poetry programme ‘Al Amor’ was successfully performed on 11 September by soprano Anastasija Minjević, pianist Ksenija Ristić and actor Joakim Tasić. The audience enjoyed the compositions of Latin American and Spanish composers, among which were the works of Alberto Ginastera, Carlos Guastavino, Villa-Lobos, de Falla, Obradors, Granados and Piazzolla. The recitation of the poetry of Lorca, Neruda and Borges gave a special tone to the entire programme.
