The Belgrade Festivals Centre (CEBEF) is organizing a unique two-day music event, URBAN SESSIONS, on 30 and 31 August 2021 in Belgrade, on the plateau near the Pobednik (the Victor) monument in Kalemegdan. The most sought-after performers of the new generation of musicians will take the stage: the band Butch Cassidy (30 August) and Marko Louis (31 August). Both performances start at 9 p.m.
Tickets at a price of 800 RSD and 1,250 RSD can be purchased in advance at tickets.rs, gigstix.com and Ticket Vision ticket offices. On the day of the concert, the ticket price will be 1,500 RSD.
Butch Cassidy, in his own words, is a ‘left-handed indie-rock ’n’ roll-electro-disco duo’ from Pančevo, founded in 2014 with the idea of shaking up and enriching the current scene with original and most modern rock ‘n’ roll releases. With the latest album ‘Euforija’, the band has unequivocally positioned itself as the leader of the new generation of the alternative scene in Serbia. Their singles ‘Tiho’ and ‘Nema ljubavi u klubu’ record multi-million views on the YouTube network. With their performance on 30 August ‘at Pobednik’, they will delight their many fans, who are eagerly awaiting their Belgrade concert.
Marko Louis is one of the most talented and productive young singer-songwriters in our region, known for his original sound and striking live performances, which draw attention throughout the region. He released four studio albums and one ‘Live’. His hits ‘Imao sam ružne sne’ and ‘Ćutaću’, as well as the duet with Lena Kovačević ‘Kraj’ stand out. Marko's music is often called ‘Balkan soul’, and the concert on Tuesday 31 August will be held under the name ‘Leto je pobednik’ (Summer is the victor).
