One of the biggest stars of classical music, pianist Daniil Trifonov, held a concert in the Concert Hall of the Kolarac Endowment on 21 October 2022, organized by the Belgrade Festivals Centre (CEBEF). He gave an extraordinary performance, which lasted over two hours, and was rewarded with a standing ovation from the audience, in the hall that was sold out days in advance.

Currently the most sought-after pianist in the world, Trifonov also showed with this performance that he won three of the world's most important piano competitions – Tchaikovsky, Chopin and Rubinstein – for a reason. An exclusive performer of Deutsche Grammophon, he opened this year's season at Carnegie Hall at the end of September, and before Belgrade he performed in Milan and Geneva.

Trifonov's recital programme at Kolarac included: Tchaikovsky – Children's Album, Op. 39; Schumann – Fantasie in C major, Op.17; Mozart – Fantasia for Piano in C minor, KV 475; Ravel – Gaspard de la nuit, M. 55; Scriabin – Piano Sonata No. 5 in F-sharp major, Op. 53.

It is interesting that Trifonov (born in the Soviet Union) played abroad for the first time in Belgrade, performing with his music school at Kolarac.
