The Sanremo Giovani World Tour 2022 musical spectacle was held in Kalemegdan (at the Belgrade City Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments) on Saturday, June 4, when, to the delight of the Belgrade audience, the finalists and the winner of the youth section of the Sanremo Song Festival – Sanremo Giovani: Yuman, Samia, Littamè and Martina Beltrami performed together with the artistic director of the tour Maurizio Filardo and his musicians. The programme was hosted by actress Anđelka Prpić, and at the beginning of the concert, the director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade, Roberto Cincotta, addressed the audience on behalf of the organizers.

The young singers received ovations from the audience for their exceptional performance. In a special ambience at the top of the Belgrade Fortress with a view of Ušće, the audience had the opportunity to hear original songs by the young performers, but also famous Italian canzones in a new arrangement.

Samia sang her two songs ‘Volume spento’ and ‘Fammi respirare’, as well as the hits ‘Il tempo di morire’ (originally Lucio Battisti) and ‘Gloria’ (originally Umberto Tozzi). Littamè performed her famous songs ‘Cazzo avete da guardare’ and ‘Respiro su Marte’, but also the hit songs ‘Non ho l’età’ (originally Gigliola Cinquetti) and ‘Pedro’ (originally Raffaella Carrà). The increasingly popular young singer Martina Beltrami thrilled the audience with her songs ‘Aspetto che torni’ and ‘Parlo di te’, as well as covers of the hits ‘Destinazione paradiso’ (originally Gianluca Grignani) and ‘Albachiara’ (originally Vasco Rossi). The winner of Sanremo Giovani and the participant of the Sanremo Song Festival in 2022, Yuman, delighted the audience with his hits ‘Ora e 'qui' and 'Mai', while for cover versions, he chose 'Prima di andare via' (originally Neffa) and 'Monna Lisa' (originally Ivan Graziani).

Before the joint performance, all the performers sang a part of the refrain of Konstrakta's song ‘Corpore sano’ – ‘Biti zdrava’ and on that occasion they said that for now that was all they had learned from the Serbian language. At the end, together they performed songs by the famous Italian musician Francesco Battiato, which the thrilled audience greeted with applause: ‘La cura’, ‘Cucurrucucú Paloma’ and ‘Centro di gravità permanente’.

The tour is organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in cooperation with RAI Television, the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade, the Italian Cultural Institute of Belgrade and the Belgrade Festivals Centre (CEBEF).
