Plateau at the Monument to the Victims of NATO Aggression, Vranje, 24 March 2026
The Committee for Nurturing the Traditions of the Liberation Wars of Serbia decided that Remembrance Day for the Victims of NATO Aggression in 1999 would be marked this year in Vranje, one of the cities that suffered the most during the aggression. The programme, with a live broadcast on the First Channel of Radio-Television of Serbia, was realized on Tuesday, 24 March, starting at 7.45 p.m.
The artistic part of the programme was entrusted to the Belgrade Festivals Centre – CEBEF, which won the competition of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy. The actors Nebojša Kundačina, Vesna Stanković, Milan Tošić, and Jovana Jelovac Cavnić participated in the programme.
The musical numbers were performed by the ensemble Riznica with conductor Radivoje Spasojević, while the host was Dragana Anastasijević. The entire programme was directed by Milena Stojićević.
Besides the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, the speakers included the leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, and Julijana Anđelković, the granddaughter of a victim of NATO aggression from Vranje.
