Међународни дан сећања на жртве Холокауста

The Council for the Cultivation of the Tradition of the Liberation Wars of Serbia has decided that this year the International Holocaust Remembrance Day will be marked at the Menorah in Flames monument on the Danube Quay.

The artistic part of the programme was entrusted to our cultural institution, which won the competition of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy.

Based on the script by Katarina Jugović and directed by Vojislav Milin, actors Duško Radović, Marija Krulj, and Jelena Puzić Zablaćanski participated in the programme.

The ballet act was performed by members of the National Theatre in Belgrade, Iva Ignjatović and Goran Stanić. The choir numbers were performed by the ensemble Alleluia with conductor Milica Jelić, while the programme was hosted by Katarina Petrović.

The ceremony was led by Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, who delivered a speech in front of a large number of guests who laid flowers and wreaths at the memorial to the suffering of Jews in World War II.
